Two bands. One stage. One evening of unstoppable groove.

SOPHISTAFUNK

“The unstoppable funk hip hop dance party.”Live for Live Music

Straight from national TV to the festival stage, Sophistafunk brings their explosive mashup of funk, hip hop, jam, soul, and electronic grooves to Saratoga Springs! As seen weekly on Food Network’s “Guy’s Ultimate Game Night,” this genre-defying trio has rocked everything from Electric Forest and Camp Bisco to BoomTown and Shambala in the UK.

Endorsed by Guy Fieri and now a household name on the festival circuit, Sophistafunk delivers high-octane performances with keyboard wizardry, gospel-infused drums, and psybient lyricism that moves both your feet and your spirit.

Whether you’re a diehard music head or just looking for the funkiest party around, this is one band you don’t want to miss.

TOPS OF TREES

An original Rock & Soul ensemble hailing from Upstate New York, Tops of Trees is quickly making a name for themselves in the Capital Region. With a sound built on a strong foundation of drums and bass, classic organ, blistering vocals, and an unshakable horn section, the band continues to thrill audiences with high-energy performances and a modern interpretation of soulful music steeped in early R&B, funk, and soul.

Releasing their debut EP, “The Tree House Sessions,” in 2023, Tops of Trees hit the airwaves on WEXT, WEQX, and Unsigned 518, resonating deeply with listeners—earning a spot on WEXT’s Local Songs of the Year list and consecutive Capital Region Thomas Edison Award nominations (The Eddies) for “Jam Band of the Year.”

Since then, the band has continued to climb, opening for Blues Traveler, Joan Osborne, and Ben Folds, and appearing on WMHT’s PBS show “AHA!.” They’ve electrified audiences at venues like Cohoes Music Hall, Putnam Place, Jive Hive Live, and the Saratoga Springs New Year’s Eve Festival. Along the way, they’ve shared the stage with Robert Randolph Band, Sqwerv, the Suke Cerulo Band, and The Pat McGee Band.

Climb up to the highest branch—and enjoy the view.
