Felix Ortiz
Owner/Dance Instructor
BailaAlbany
Felix Ortiz’s love of dance began at a very early age, when his grandmother would drag him onto the living room floor during her many holiday parties. Her passion for dance was contagious and left a lasting impression. After moving to Albany in 2000, Felix knew he needed dance to be a bigger part of his life. Since then, he has danced across the country, taught at numerous venues, hosted a wide range of events, and owned or co-owned two dance studios dedicated entirely to Latin dance instruction.
He is also a proud father to a wonderful child who—no surprise—is an avid dancer as well.
¡Baila! Albany is his vision, rooted in a simple belief: to dance is to be happy.
