Christmas Oratorio Tea

Join Nacre Dance Group at the Universal Preservation Hall Sunday, December 10 for a holiday tea with treats provided by Chocolate is Self-Care. Artistic Director, Beth Fecteau will greet the audience, along with some dancers, with a pre-performance demonstration as you dine!

Nacre’s production is based on modern dance pioneer Charles Weidman’s later version of Christmas Oratorio which opened in 1961 to wide critical acclaim and has remained a much-loved classic work of modern dance. Weidman’s masterful choreography combined with Bach’s passionate music makes this a moving and unforgettable experience for dancers and audiences. Only a select few dance companies in the world have performed the Christmas Oratorio.
