Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band

Cutting his teeth as the house manager at the iconic Saratoga Springs listening room Caffe Lena, Reese Fulmer has emerged “with a poet’s sensibility rich with great storytelling, imagery and a healthy dose of irony.” (Vivian Nesbitt, Art of the Song) Reese Fulmer & The Carriage House Band challenge the traditional relationship of a songwriter and his band, with a fluidly rotating cast of top-notch players and a flair for experimentation that combine for a unique and mesmerizing live performance, resulting in recognition as the 2023 Americana Artist of the Year, along with another nomination for 2024, at the Thomas Edison Music Awards. Add to that a keen lyricism that explores the human experience with a patient and poetic touch and you have Upstate New York’s answer to the indie-folk/alt-Americana boundary pushed forward by Wilco and Iron & Wine. Nominated for 2024 Songwriter of the Year as well, “Fulmer is a songwriter whose lyrics expose parts of myself to me that I often cannot put language to, and for that, I’m both grateful and mystified.” (Laura DaPolito, Nippertown)

New American Cuisine

New American Cuisine (known among fans as NAC) is a flavorful five-piece indie rock machine from Saratoga Springs, NY. The group has grown from playing open mics together in high school to headlining Saratoga’s historic Caffè Lena. After three sold out performances there, the band has solidified a local base. For the five young musicians, NAC is the perfect outlet for many of their individual musings as songwriters. Their material always feels fresh, described by listeners as “lush, melodic, and hook-driven”, such as with 2020’s popular single “Lily of the Aztecs”. On top of this, the group plays energetic and unique live shows.

“We like to make every show and set list different from the last — it’s more fun for us and the audience.” says singer and guitarist Bryce North.

NAC creates their own catchy fusion of indie stylings, drawing inspiration from the likes of the Beatles to John Mayer. The Cuisine is yours to discover.
