Women Aren’t Funny Comedy Series is an all-female comedy series the first Wednesday of every month, brought to you and hosted by local favorite – Erin Harkes! Erin has won Best Comedian in the Capital Region multiple times over the last decade, most recently by the Times Union 2023 Reader’s Poll.
HEADLINER – CAROLYN PLUMMER
Carolyn Plummer has been performing comedy professionally for over 20 years, traveling extensively to some of the most remote parts of the country. With a career that spans clubs, colleges, lodges, theaters and corporate events, Carolyn has shared the stage with top headliners in the industry. Her festival credits include appearances at the “Burbank Comedy Festival,” where she was named Best of the Fest, the “Boston Comedy Festival” and “The Women in Comedy Festival.”
A highlight of her career includes performing at Denis Leary’s “Comics Come Home” 26 at the TD Garden to benefit the Cam Neely Foundation. In addition to her comedic talents, Carolyn is a skilled trumpet player and a recipient of the Woody Herman Jazz Award, though she is humble about it. Known for her versatility, Carolyn can entertain audiences ranging from nuns to biker dudes!
